The DNA Gel Recovery Kit is suitable for extracting up to 8 μg of linear DNA from a variety of electrophoresis gels (TAE or TBE) with optimized reagents and convenient DNA preparation tubes. It is suitable for the recovery of DNA fragments between 75 bp and 10 Kb, with recoveries ranging from 60 to 85% depending on the length. The unique buffer system prevents damage and degradation of DNA fragments while ensuring that the gel melts completely.
