The PCR clean-up kit uses the method of selective adsorption of DNA preparation tubes to efficiently select and recover DNA fragments. It is suitable for the recovery of DNA from PCR or other enzymatic reactions with fragment lengths greater than 75 bp with a recovery rate of 70-90%. Up to 8 μg of linear DNA can be obtained per tube. There is no need to remove the mineral oil layer from the PCR reaction prior to purification.
The kit effectively removes primers, enzyme proteins, single nucleotides, fluorescent dyes, or radioisotopically labeled single nucleotides less than 50 mer. Purified DNA is suitable for a variety of uses, such as sequencing, ligation, restriction analysis, in vitro transcription, and microinjection.
